Write. Share. Give.

Today is the sixth day of the 16th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge and it’s a fresh new week! Happy Monday!

Write your slice of life story.
Share the link to it on the daily call for slice of life stories.
Give at least three other Slicers comments on their blog posts.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

A huge thank you to Stacey for kicking off this year’s challenge on days 1-5. I’m excited to host this week and connect even more with the TWT community!

BE INSPIRED

We are excited to host several Slicing Workshops throughout the month this year. These meetings are open to anyone in the community, and we especially hope that new slicers will join one or two or more of them! For more information, please head to this explanation or start with Melanie Meehan’s video explanation.

    1. You made me giggle when the plan turned into the “dumbest plan ever conceived.” They always sound better in our minds than in reality on a cold winter morning. Hope you had a wonderful evening!

      1. Hi Joan! It looks like your comments are showing up this evening on the main call for links and not writers’ individual blogs. Please reach out to one of the members of our TWT team if you need help troubleshooting leaving comments on a blog. So glad you’re here this March!

    1. Hi Maura, please don’t hit “enter” before the permalink. It creates a preview of your post that, unfortunately, makes our comment section difficult for many users to navigate. Thank you.

    1. Hi there Deb! I love Monday, because as you said, Mondays are when I’m the most prepared because Sundays are spent getting ready for the week. It always goes downhill from there. 🙂

      1. Hi again. Please do not leave comments for the author in our comments section. They will not see them here, and it clogs our comment section, making it difficult for others to navigate.

    1. Hi there Saba! I can absolutely relate even at the elementary level. Even though our Spring Break is in a few weeks, Mondays are harder because we’re coming off of weekends where student and teachers alike have less structure. I’m super sleepy today.
