I had an exasperating drive to work yesterday morning. It could’ve been worse… I could’ve been the one in the MVA. Thankfully I wasn’t. However, once I rerouted myself and got stuck behind a freight train, I was not happy. When the freight train stopped completely, I was shocked. I began taking photos.
Last night, I uploaded the photos to my computer and was able to have a good laugh about this situation. Hence, I wrote a couplet about my LONG drive to work yesterday. It’s certainly not my best poetry, but I wanted to preserve this little slice of my life and figured I’d do it in poetic verse.
Here’s the couplet:

Then getting stuck behind a freight train became very boring.
