Translation Gadget

I started a classroom blog for my in-coming class since it seemed easier than re-creating a new wiki. I’ve only posted a handful of times, but added a bunch of gadgets to the “Safe Sites” Page earlier this evening.

I’ve been playing around with Google Gadgets for the past couple of weeks and found an amazing universal translator from BabelFish. I mention it in this venue since parents who do not speak English might want to view your classroom blog. Inviting them into your virtual classroom, with an option for translation, is one way to increase family involvement.
