ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Each day’s “Call for Slice of Life Stories” opens at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. If it’s before midnight in New York, post your story link on that day’s post. After midnight, use the new day’s post. Comments usually close after 24 hours, but may stay open a bit longer if our team needs more time.
BE INSPIRED
One of my favorite things about the Slice of Life Community is feeling like…well, a writer among writers. SOLSC reminds me that even when the task of writing feels challenging, I’m not alone.
Juliette Awua-Kyerematen, of the Gifts blog, is a teacher in Hanoi. I’ve followed her writing for a while, and her post “Writing Decisions” is a thoughtful look into her writing process. She’s open, honest, and vulnerable about how she sees herself as a writer, how she sees her work.
What’s your process? What excites you (or fills you with dread)? What brings you back from day to day?
