Slice of Life Story Challenge

Slice of Life Tuesday

Write. Share. Give.

Even though we have one more day until the Slice of Life Story Challenge begins, we’re gathering today — because that’s what we do on Tuesdays — to share our stories.

On February 1, I opened the sign-up for the 16th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge. If you haven’t already done so, please fill out the sign-up form if you plan to participate in the March challenge. Everyone taking part in the challenge must fill out this form by 11:59 PM EST on March 1. Signing up for the challenge allows the co-author team to communicate with Slicers when needed.

If you have friends or colleagues interested in joining the individual challenge for the first time this March, please share Beth’s overview post and/or share the podcast Melanie and I released last month.

Speaking of our month-long challenge… if you’re stuck at any point during the month, consider using your One Little Word to inspire you. Don’t have one? Check out this piece from The Washington Post‘s Tara Parker-Pope to learn more.

    1. I share your reluctance to put pressure on your writing; yet, I know I will feel invigorated by writing more! My son, an educator, says blogging is “old school” and that “pod casts” are the future…but I just don’t agree. The written word makes a thought “visible” and seems to have more of a lasting memory than an “auditory” ramble. But, even as I write this, I worry if I am just becoming “old school.” Sigh…Hope to “see” you when you can join.
