Dear Two Writing Teachers Community:
I have missed you! This year has been among my hardest, but my love for literacy and language have brought me to this familiar happy space and place. I’m so glad to know that you never go away (smile). After being invited two years ago to participate in the daily writing in March, I was sure to participate; but, I found it difficult to keep up with the weekly Tuesday writings. I was taken aback to realize within the last hour or so that my last post was in April (cringe…).
That being said, writing and sharing here, in such a supportive community helped me be a better blogger. Of late, I’ve felt so inundated with the ebb and flow of just – life – momming, wifing, working, speaking, traveling, churching, helping…breathing…that I felt I’d unintentionally and regretfully neglected my wee little blog…
But…writing is my love…and I have missed it so painfully.
And so…I promised myself that today…I would find the Tuesday-Two-Writing-Teachers-Link. I would find it. I would find a picture. I would write – something, and I would find my way back to my happy literary home. At a keyboard. With words. Sharing my thoughts – with a community that cares.
Pardon my blubbering, but I only meant that to say, being introduced to your “place,” undergirded by your passion – is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. I’m so glad you created the perfect platform for a most magical craft. May you be richly rewarded…
Thank You,
~Carla Michelle
