I’m glad to be here today, remembering to post a Slice of Life on Tuesday. Today was an uncommonly busy day of work, but the great team I work with made it end on a happy note.
Thank you to my slicer friend Terje Akke from Estonia for always being such an inspiration through her words and photographs. I’m sharing one of her photos that led me to write #poemsofhope. Also, I’m announcing an annual global chat, “Poetry Soothes Souls during Troubled Times”. https://beyondliteracylink.blogspot.com/2020/04/from-estonia-to-ny-nature-nurtures.html
Yesterday was a hard day: between miserable weather, trying to “master” distance teaching, and exhaustion due to lack of routine… but there was still joy. https://kouellette.com/choose-joy/
