Welcome to the seventeenth day of the 13th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Do you need some Slicer swag? Visit our Cafepress store where you can purchase t-shirts, coffee mugs, water bottles, keychains, and more. All proceeds from our Cafepress store are donated to the Pajama Program.
PRIZE ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you commented on 50 or more posts anytime between 12:01 am EDT on Friday, March 13, and 11: 59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 15, then you are eligible for this prize. Fill out the form for a chance to win a Commenter of Quantity Prize. Thank you to Kids Can Press for sponsoring this prize. Just look at that stack of books!
The winner will be announced on March 21. Don’t forget, if you are eligible to please fill out the form by 11:59 pm on March 19, EDT.
BE INSPIRED
Whether you have been able to slice every day this month or you have just joined the challenge, you are stronger than you think you are. I was reminded of this when I read Kristin Weller’s post from her blog, Writing and Laughing. She wrote a slice on March 1 titled, I’m Stronger Than I Think I Am. In her post, she shows how determination, self-perception, and a little encouragement can be all you need to do something you never thought you could. In what seems like very uncertain times, it feels like bravery, generosity, and encouragement are good traits to live by.
QUESTIONS

Probably the last one to post on St. Patrick’s Day! After three days of not going to town today I went to get groceries. This is what I have been imagining every time I open the door of my home when I return. https://elintervencionista.wordpress.com/2020/03/17/day-17-following-the-protocol-sol2020-challenge-solsc/
