Classroom Slice of Life March Challenge: Day 13 of 31

Slice of Life_classroom image Black

Welcome to Day 13!

One of the favorite Slice of Life topics which my sixth graders love to write about is cooking with family members. Have you baked cookies, made scrambled eggs, cooked up some grits with someone in your family recently? If so, it would make a great Slice of Life.

Here is the chef Jamie Oliver making pancakes with his kids.  We love all the descriptive words he uses to talk about cooking and tasting, not to mention the sounds and sights of a kitchen in use – all the inspiration you need to craft a great slice of life:

Happy Slicing!

    • Hi Helen,
It says that first you have to log in to view the posts. Then when I logged in it said Only class members with permission may view the posts.

    • Gael, I think you put your link in the wrong spot. This is for the classroom challenge. You should repost in the SOLC page.
