So I Owe You Two

Whoops, I didn’t post yesterday. I could give you a really good excuse like:

• The kids and I were shoe shopping with my mom.
• I was planning a new book with Christi O.
• I played outside in the grey day for hours with my kids.
• I made an awesome dinner.

Or we can just chalk it up to spring break and I guess I needed a break.

A couple of blogs I follow, Natalie Whipple and Kiersten White, recently hosted a Q & A post. I like reading these posts and have this fleeting thought that it would be fun to host one here. Then the voices that creep into every writer’s head sneak into mine and I begin to doubt myself and wonder if this would actually work here. Well today I’m stomping on the voices (I’ve gotten quite adept at that, which I think is necessary for any writer to survive) and reminding myself that my mom and writing group read this blog so they will soothe my bruised ego if no one has a question.

I think this suffices as an apology explanation as to  why I didn’t blog yesterday. I’ll be right back with the two posts I owe you . . . the Q & A and the GIVEAWAYS for SOLSC.
