Three weeks ago was the last time I posted. Three weeks ago my life changed. On March 14, our new daughters moved in. That’s right, in less than a week our little family of 3 grew to a family of 5. I am now a mom to a 2, 4, and 6 year old. And I have been a bit shell-shocked. More importantly, I’m overly-blessed and more in love with my husband than ever before.
I’m reminded of the ever-challenging, intricate, amazing way that life works. And now that I’m able to find shoes that match prior to leaving the house, I’m hoping to be back in the blog world. Many thanks to my dear friend, Stacey, who has kept this site going with no complaints or pressure on me while I’ve adjusted to having a child in school; a child who is four in all its glory; and a little boy who is learning to share the spotlight. Sometimes life (and laundry) takes over and some other stuff has to take a back burner.
BTW — I’ve been thankful for the SOLC because although I’ve not posted, I have kept up with my Slice of Life journal. I’ll be forever thankful to have those little memories recorded forever.

That’s wonderful Ruth. I have loved being in your slices community and it’s wonderful to understand why you had to step aside. Great reason to be away and in your life.

Glad you’re back Ruth. I wasn’t going to ask when you were coming back… I knew you would when you were ready.
I’m taking my Lit. Specialist Certification Test tomorrow. Let’s try to talk on Sunday or Monday.
Big hugs to you and the girls.
My best,
Stacey
