It’s Slice of Life Tuesday!

At the end of the school year, as we were helping students make plans for summer reading, third-grade teacher Kelli Banet shared a Summer Writing Toolkit she created for her students-with a little help from NotebookLM. The toolkit is filled with simple, engaging ideas to keep kids writing all summer long. I asked Kelli if I could share some of those ideas with all of you as inspiration for your July slicing. Thank you, Kelli!

So, happy Tuesday!

Write. Share. Give.

    1. Lisa – you write with such honesty – I love your line – hope is a muscle. I agreed wholeheartedly – be a helper, look for the helpers – it’s the only way to navigate this wild world. I didn’t know there was such a thing as cardamom syrup – but I’m going hunting for it today!

I tried to respond on you site but it kept failing.

      1. Thank you for taking the time to comment here. I think so many of us are navigating the question of “What to do?” and I’m so appreciative of a space like this to reflect on it. And I sure hope you can get your hands on some cardamom syrup – it’s a “helper” for sure 🙂
