Slice of Life Story Challenge

Day 17 of the March SOLSC #SOL24

Congratulations! Today is the seventeenth day of the 17th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge. 17 days on the 17th challenge! Methinks there’s some lucky magic to be had!  I am happy to host for the next few days as we progress through the challenge.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

BE INSPIRED

Sometimes, a writer just needs to play. Sometimes, a writer just needs to have FUN with language! Blogger Sherri Spelic does just that at Sherri’s Slice of Life Project. Check out her post, SOL 24 Word Leftovers #8. It’s a collection of language that plays over, under and all around with inventive rhyme and rhythm. Her rewritten nursery rhymes are also a source of inspiration. Maybe you’d like to give it a go!

One more thought: I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Sherri’s social justice newsletter for educators, Bending the Arc. It’s full of resources and wisdom. Click here for access!
