The Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge has just begun! Classroom SOLSC posts go live on Sunday mornings though the end of April. The posts are meant to provide tips, inspiration and encouragement for educators who are coaching students in the challenge. See the overview post for more information and sign up here before April 2, 2023!

BE INSPIRED

For today’s inspiration, check out Christina Huizar’s post called Self Care Plans for the Classroom from her blog Lit Coach Learnings. In it she describes how she was inspired by the work of Chardé Hollins, a licensed social worker and a featured speaker on the podcast Leading Equity. It’s a worthwhile read for any teacher interested in what Christina describes as, “…a way to see, notice, affirm, and truly empower each and every student in your classroom.”
