ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thank you to the veteran Slicers who volunteered (mid month, at short notice) to be part of the Welcome Wagon for new Slicers! This challenge is hard work, and every positive comment from a reader fuels forward momentum. Thank you for making sure that new slicers receive plenty of comment love! The TWT community is amazing, and we are so appreciative of the generosity and thoughtfulness of these volunteers!

There are two more virtual workshop opportunities scheduled for any Slicers who are interested: Today, March 16th at 8 pm ET, and tomorrow, March 17th at 5 pm ET. For more details and the zoom link, check out this doc.

BE INSPIRED

Today’s Be Inspired post is from Joyous Link, at her blog, Joyous Thoughts. Her slice, Irrationally Upset, captures a relatable moment she might prefer to forget—but which makes for a delightful story. I’m so glad she decided to share it! In a relatively short slice, she is able to move the reader through a range of feelings that culminates in a laugh out loud (from the reader—I’m pretty sure she didn’t laugh in that moment). Take a peek, and be inspired.
