It’s Tuesday! That means it’s time for Slice of Life on #TWTBlog.
As your host for August’s Slice of Life Tuesdays, I offer inspiration—or an idea to tuck away for another day—from a hike I took last weekend: What might inspire you because it’s not there? What story might be hiding in what’s missing? Watch this quick video to hear more about how the idea of the “missing” slice came to be:
As always, craft a slice of life story (in any form)—based on the idea above or something else—share a link in the comments section below, and read and comment on the slices of at least three others.
Write. Share. Give.
We are so glad you are here! Thank you for being a part of our amazing community of writers.

I have a nonsense poem, photos of our in-progress kitchen changes, and a nice desert rain. Thanks for the inspiration, Morgan. I will consider it again, but I did notice the missing heat today, which brought me outside to enjoy the rainfall. https://mrsdkrebs.edublogs.org/2022/08/16/16-dfabw-laughter-and-a-slice-of-life/

It did work, Stacey. The succulent was lovely. For someone who was so determined to not enjoy herself, she did a beautiful job with her succulent. I would purchase it had I seen such in a market.
