Classroom SOLSC: Blogging into Week 5

Welcome to the April Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge!

Moving into the Final Stretch!

We are so glad you and your students have participated in the blogging challenge for the month of April. We hope you and your students have enjoyed the challenge as much as we have!

Please use the Padlet to support other classes that are blogging during the Classroom SOLSC. Much like we ask our educator bloggers to comment on three slices each day in the March SOLSC, we hope that our Classroom SOLSC educators will support students bloggers from other classes. We also invite our Slice of Life community to read and comment on student blog posts during April.

Be Inspired!

How will you Celebrate?

Slice of Life Lunch?  Serve only food that is served in slices! (Pizza, oranges, pie, or anything that could be sliced and served)

Host a blog share in the school media center (or similar common area). Invite parents, students, and staff in to learn about the challenge and to see the writing and comments of the bloggers!

Let’s have a conversation!

How will you celebrate?   Please share your ideas in the comments.

  1. During the spring break, I went shopping for prizes for bloggers who earned 7 or more badges! I will have certificates for students who earned 5 badges and will print out everyone’s badge sheet. Students who earned 10 or more badges will be in the “Blogging Hall of Fame” and I will take their picture and really pour on the praise! I had a lot of bloggers this year! I regret not being able to visit more blogs from different classes. I hope everyone enjoyed the challenge!
