
It is my pleasure to announce the Eleventh Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge prize winners. All participants who signed up for the challenge, completed the challenge faithfully, and signed our Participant Pledge were eligible for a prize. All winners were chosen using a random number generator. Winners, as well as the generous donors, will be contacted via email within the next ten days.

Gail Boushey and Joan Moser, otherwise known as The 2 Sisters, are donating one free attendance to a 2 Sisters Online Seminar of their choice. The Intentional Educator is offering two slicers copies of The Intentional Educator Daily Journal, a daily writing journal that encourages and supports reflection, mindfulness and gratitude. The winners are Rose Cappelli and Teri Cote.


Finally, we also received donations from our own writing community of year-round Slice of Life writers.
Sally Donnelly will send a special Moleskin covered journal to hold ALL the stories that only YOU can write and a set of colorful flair markers to keep YOU writing. Sally is generously donating three prize packages! The winners are Jessica Baran, Bonnie Kaplan, and Judy Kovalchik.
Aileen Hower will donate a basket of five of her favorite 2017 MG and YA books. The winner is Alex Papp.

Erika Victor is donating a copy of The Writing Strategies Book by Jennifer Serravallo because it was one of her most-used resources throughout the year! The winner is Elisabeth Ellington.
Another one of our community members, Emily Culbertson, is donating a copy of 365 Days of Wonder: Mr. Browne’s Precepts, as well as an idea notebook, and a Flair pen. The winner is Samantha Marquardt.

Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly have more prizes… we do! Keep your eye out for our mid-month challenges. There will be more prizes for those challenge winners, donated by The Highlights Foundation, our friends Kate Roberts and Maggie Beattie Roberts, authors of DIY Literacy, and our friends Clare Landrigan and Tammy Mulligan.
As previously announced, the winner of the Highlights Foundation prize was Vanessa Worrell. The lucky mid-month challenge winner of a Skype session and book with Kate Roberts and Maggie Beattie-Roberts was Bryanna Norman.
