Were you able to join in for the Ed Collab Gathering on Saturday? Deb, Dana, Stacey, and I presented a session titled, Maximize Independent Writing Time by Creating Conferring Toolkits. This day of professional development is unique. Through Google Hangouts on Air and YouTube, the Educator Collaborative is able to deliver excellent PD with a great line-up of presenters on a range of topics. They like to call it PD in your pajamas. The other unique characteristic of this opportunity is you don’t have to pick and choose which session you want to watch. You can actually visit any or all of the sessions later on the archives. I love this feature! We would love for you to visit our presentation. We had a great time preparing for this techy endeavor.

I really enjoyed your presentation on Saturday. I love the idea of conference toolkit. I especially liked the idea of using highlighter tape as a space holder between words instead of using fingers.
