Anna recently co-wrote Bringing History to Life with Lucy Calkins, part of the 2013 series Units of Study in Opinion, Information, and Narrative Writing (Heinemann). She has been a researcher for Lucy Calkins, contributing especially to Pathways to the Common Core (Heinemann, 2012) and Navigating Nonfiction (Heinemann, 2010).

My very uneventful, dead day of mindlessness…am I a zombie.
I can’t remember the last time I wrote on a Tuesday! Tonight was picture-heavy, from my time in Rwanda this summer. I was at an incredible village for teenagers that became orphans as a result of the Rwandan Genocide. It was an incredible place, and tonight I gave the physical tour.
