I’ll be attending the TCRWP’s August Writing Institute in New York next week.  Will you be there?  Please let me if you will be since I’d love to meet up with other Slicers!

  1. I will be missing my daughter and grandson, who have been visiting this week and last. It will sort of be like the osprey this week as they leave the nest and learn to catch their own fish. I wonder if the adult osprey miss the young as we do? Anyway, my post is a quick link to watch the second young osprey fledge. She’s standing on the edge and flapping her wings, and even hovers…but she’s still there. http://mainelywrite.blogspot.com/2013/07/osprey-are-learning-to-fly.html

  2. Natalie Louis and Kate Roberts from TCRWP came to my district’s Summer Academy and trained some of us for an entire week. It was absolutely amazing. I am jealous that you get to go to New York though. Wish I was.
