Do you like writing book reviews? I don’t. But today, I felt like I had to share these great books! I would love any tips on formatting book reviews without turning them blah… One would think that a reader and a writer would enjoy combining the two…. Me? Not-so-much.

Remembering and enjoying a wonderful Mother’s Day
Gratitude is an anchor.
Noticing the effect having our kids home has on our dog:
I know Mother’s Day is usually about kids thanking their moms… I went a different route with this post.
It’s been a few weeks since I wrote a Slice but ..
I spent “Mother’s Day” cooking, planting, washing, praying, giving and connecting! Sounds like a long day!
I vowed I wouldn’t do a load of laundry on Mother’s Day. But then Izzy spit out her teething medicine (pink) all over her shirt (white). So, guess who went upstairs, hit the shirt with Zout, & did a laundry? Me.
I’ll be out on a trip Tuesday with the youngest of our classes and will write about them soon, should be a wonderful day on a farm! Here’s my post about another ‘new’ thing happening in my life: http://teacherdance.blogspot.com/2013/05/something-new-and-terrific.html
I am getting back to SOLSC – I have missed it. – with a story about our Poetry Café.
