Fridays (Ruth’s SOLS)

I like Fridays not just because…

I get to dress casual.
It’s the end of the work week.
I come home to a clean house.
We spend the evening with friends.
I pick Sam up at the library.
Everyone is more relaxed.

But because tomorrow is Saturday.

  1. I WISH for magical fairies. We clean our little hearts out (all 5 of us) on Thursday afternoons. Last Thursday we didn’t get to the upstairs (or the dusting) so we get to do it today.

    Someday maybe magical fairies…

  2. Loved the ending…the luxury of Saturday is always a gift!

How do you get your house cleaned? Do you have magical fairies that clean it before you get there?

  3. @Christy — Thank you. And, no, I’m not “totally over this.” My heart pitter-patters to see the book places & my kids still give “little parades” when the Stenhouse catalogue comes & we see Day by Day. Thanks so much for your support, Ruth

  4. You may be totally over this, but even though I own your book, I got a bit excited to see it on sale at the PS and Associates Professional Book Booth at our Illinois Reading Council Conference. It felt like I was seeing you get the recognition you deserve. I think this is another reason you should love Fridays!

BTW- I put you and Stacey down as presenters I would love to see at our conference in the future. 🙂
