Things are crazy around my home & I’ve missed Wordless Wednesday two weeks in a row now . . . not to mention WNW. So on this Friday . . . which is Poetry Friday — I’m going to kinda combine all three. Here’s the photo and a poem, which is an original, so it qualifies as a writer’s notebook entry!
Make a wish —
He’s the one with the candles.
He’s the one with the great big breath.
He’s the one with the birthday.
He’s the one who gets the wish.
Yet
I can’t help but steal a bit
Of the moment
Of the wish
That he grows into a man
Who changes the world.
