100th Day of School

Today was the hundredth day of school. As usual, I overplanned:

The good news is that we got to all but two of these things. The bad news is that we never did the 10 x 10 descriptive words and the shopping spree at Scholastic with my kids’ checkbooks (i.e., checkbook math checkbooks). However, we had a SUPER day!!! I’m totally exhausted from the excitement, but it’s a good exhausted! 🙂

  1. I may totally have to steal this idea for next year. I often wonder as a 5th grade teacher, why 100th day celebrations seem to be for the younger kids. I will definately be trying something like this next year. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I have totally been trying to figure out what to do for the 100th day! Thank you thank you for this list. I thought my class would think they are too old for this celebration but they informed me the other day that they are expecting something. I think they think they have tricked me into another day of parties and fun. Little to they know! Mwahhahaha!
