Hey, Slicers! I’m excited to be hosting SOL Tuesdays this month. I always eagerly anticipate the summer because I think I’ll have ample time to rededicate myself to slicing. However, when I’m out of routine, I actually find it harder to make time for writing. Does that happen to any of you?
To encourage all of you (and myself) this month, I’m going to invite you to consider an emotion and think of a corresponding slide. Take or leave this optional challenge. This week, consider a time when you felt proud. Were you proud of yourself or proud of another? Are you going to tell what happened to make you feel that way? Or will you describe the aftermath of the moment and emotion?
I look forward to reading your small moments this week. Don’t forget to read and comment on other posts. Be on the lookout for a surprising moment to share next week if you’d like to follow the prompt.

I just read Leah’s invitation to Slice and realize that though I didn’t expressly write about “proud,” my post is FULL of that feeling. Go figure…
