Day 10 of the March SOLSC! #SOL22

Welcome to the tenth day of the 15th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge! We are moving into the double digits!

Write. Share. Give.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

BE INSPIRED

Laughter provides wonderful fodder for slice of life stories, and this inspirational post reminded me that looking for laughter throughout one day can lead to my slice for the next day.

Caitlin Michaelis is a second-year slicer, blogging at love always, caitlin. Her posts focus on her interactions with students, and many slicers will be able to relate to giggles, her rendition of a silly moment of classroom life. Maybe you’ll laugh today, although not quite as hard as Caitlin’s student, and find your slice for a future post.

  1. I love it when I catch myself using practices and tools as a writer that I taught my students in the classroom! Case in point: I spent the morning reading through several journals highlighting memories to mine about my daughter for an essay I’m allegedly writing for Listen to you Mother St. Louis. Click here to see my writing process from hell: https://fumblingtowardssomething.blogspot.com/2022/03/elfin-girlchild-drafting-part-3.html Apologies in advance! 🙂

    • Hello! If you hit enter between your teaser and your link, you will see a box with a post preview (like your comment today). Unfortunately, these previews clog up our comment section and can make it difficult for some users to navigate our site. If you insert a space after your end punctuation, then it won’t happen next time. Thank you!
