Summer is officially here and all of us are happy to welcome you to Slice of Life!
Last night I was sparked with an urge to write a poem, which led to looking for poems to read afterward. I didn’t much like my poem and wanted to read something that felt warm and light, like summer. I found Paul Laurence Dunbar’s poem, “In Summer,” from his complete works.
What’s inspiring you to write in these early summer days?
