If you are planning to attend NCTE in Baltimore, we have a traditional Slicers’ Dinner, and we’d love you to join us! Because of space constraints, we may only have room for 15 people, in addition to the TWT co-authors, so please let us know as soon as possible!

This month, I have collected some quotes from Toni Morrison to inspire us. Some of them come from a 1993 interview in The Paris Review. If you have time, the entire interview is well-worth reading!
I love hearing about where people write and how they find their inspiration to release their imagination. For me, my best place is a comfortable chair or bed with the water in front of me.

Better late than never! Our campout with the sixth graders! 🙂

Every Thursday my girlfriends and I get together and go on adventures. And we often get asked the SAME question. Here’s is the story, in the form of a comic http://literacytogether.org/solsc/2019/9/10/zibf6qkpecq9fnefdxu429qyueghm6
