WRITE, SHARE, GIVE: SOL TIME

With our  Slice of Life  Story Challenges just around the corner,  there is still time to encourage friends and colleagues to create their blogs and get ready to join us as we “write, share, give” in the month of March.  I have two colleagues who seem almost ready to take the plunge, and one who is ready to go.  Exciting!  Our Welcome Wagon is still in need of a few more volunteers, as well.  Let us know if you’d like to help out in this important aspect of the SOLSC experience, for those encouraging comments are especially welcome to those participating for the first time.

Now, it is time to write your Slice, share your link, and give some comments to (at least three) other slicers.  If you’re leaving your comment early in the day, please consider returning this evening or tomorrow to read some of our evening posters’ slices.

“So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say. ”
― Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own

  1. After arriving to school in the mornings for my practicum, hall duty is what my life consists of for at least half an hour, sometimes longer. The students arrive some very excited to be at school, others exhausted and burnt out looking, and then there are the students who look like they still may be sleeping. Their clothes are sometimes matching, not matching at all, or matching way TOO much! Their backpacks are all too big for their little bodies, hopefully containing the homework from the night before. Nevertheless, I am excited to see them at school. 🙂
