I’m very excited about Screen Free Week, which begins on Monday, April 29th. I’m hoping it gives a lot of people, especially kids, a chance to reset their media habits. I tend to think getting kids to reduce their dependency on technology is about setting limits (e.g., where and when it can be used) and by modeling the behaviors we want to see (in our kids) ourselves. What do you think is a good way to teach kids (and ourselves) to unplug from media in an effort to interact with others, not just screens?
