  5. Thank you for hosting and encouraging the Slice of Life Challenge. I had three students participate with me this year and all three wrote every day. I gave them their writing gifts (fun notebooks and pens) this morning. The younger sister of one saw the gift bag and said, “What’s that? I want one!” Hope she takes the challenge next year!
