While being part of a community of writers is the true reward, we still have some prizes to allocate for the Third Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge.

It’s time to announce the recipients of the Third Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge Giveaways.  Unlike last year, my ability to make a silent movie (or any kind of video) is gone due to a camera malfunction that happened last night.  While I shot a video of the drawing*, I’m unable to upload it to the internet after trying several times.  Therefore, here are two lists of the recipients for both of the drawings:

  • Mary:  Three books from Simon & Schuster, Inc.

  • Mrs. B.:  Two books from HarperCollins Children’s Books.

  • Nancy:  A subscription to Motherhood Muse.

  • Natalee:  Bernadette Simpson’s An ABC Escapade Through Egypt.

  • Tracey:  Carl Hiassen’s trio of books from Random House.

  • Virgina Belles:  A subscription to Motherhood Muse.

26 – 30 day participant drawings:

  • mag:  Melanie Watt’s Scaredy Squirrel Series.

  • MaryHelen:  A one-year membership to the IRA, along with a year-long subscription to The Reading Teacher (journal).

  4. I am so excited to win such a devilishly cute guy! I just know I am going to buy the scaredy squirrel himself to complete the set.
    Thank you for inspiring me to post every day- to find some glimmer of connection in my dull and boring daily grind. Thanks to the other writers who inspired me to continue and entertained and informed aloong the way!
    P.S. Not that it matters to anyone but me……I did post every day, although my blog clock was off….

  7. Yay! I stayed up way too late just so I could check out the list and the pay off was that my name was there! 🙂 Congrats to everyone! I can’t wait until next year, but until then, see ya on Tuesdays!
