I just finished Reading Aloud Across The Curriculum. It is good…. has numerous books that will lend itself to my classroom this year.

Well, please share what you have learned. I am reading work books this summer too. I’m reading Guiding Readers and Writers: Teaching Comprehension, Genre, and Content Literacy and Independent Writing: One Teacher—Thirty-Two Needs, Topics, and Plans. They are very inspirational books and I’m devising a plan for how reading and writing may work in my classroom this year.
