My eyes followed the v-shaped glass that rested on the plate next to two, over-sized chocolate chip cookies at Twist on Angell. I want that, I thought. So, I didn’t stuff myself during dinner. Therefore, when our server asked if we wanted dessert, I replied, “Did I see milk and cookies go by?”
“Yes, you did,” she replied. “But the milk is infused with chocolate.”
“Will you split it with me?” I asked Marc.
He hesitated, but said, “Sure.”
Our friends ordered a flourless chocolate cake. Theirs looked good, but our dessert was chewy, campy and delectable all-together!
