You’ve made it to the 28th day of our 31-day writing challenge! I’m a big fan of celebrations and milestones, so make sure to congratulate yourself today for showing up to the page for four solid weeks of writing! Remember to share the link to your blog in the comments, and comment on at least three other Slicers’ stories.
BE INSPIRED
Some slices have many layers, as shown in today’s Be Inspired post from Lucy Yeager on her blog A Dreamer and A Doer. In her story, “The Fickle Road,” Lucy writes of a road trip with some major ups and downs. Within her writing, the road she has traveled is a central character with a backstory, an adventure, and a demand for respect. Lucy’s writing reminds us that often there’s a story within a story, and that we can invite our readers to travel right along with us.
SUPPORT
If you encounter any issues with non-working links, problems with your permalink, or a permalink causing an image to appear in the comment section, our Slicer Troubleshooting Team is here to help. The team comprises four experienced Slicers: Glenda Funk, Fran McCrackin, Joanne Toft, and Peter von Euler. (Click here for a short tutorial to help you find your permalink and link your slice-of-life story to this post.)
For inquiries, please email us rather than leaving them in the comments below or on social media. We appreciate your patience as we receive a high volume of emails in the early days of the challenge. We will respond to all emails promptly.
