It’s April. Not only does April bring showers to the flowers of May, but it also wraps us in poetry. Many teachers choose April to celebrate poetry in honor of National Poetry Month. Authors, writers, and poets everywhere use it as a time to spotlight poetry.

If you were a participant in our March SOLSC of 2022, you might have come across one of the thirty-one poems shared by Kevin Hodgson, an original slicer for fifteen years who writes at his blog, Kevin’s Meandering Mind. To see some of his poetry slices, visit this link, where he’s rounded up the whole month. It might inspire you to share a poetry slice on a Tuesday sometime in April.
