Welcome to the Tuesday Slice of Life Story Challenge!
WRITE a slice of life story on your own blog.
SHARE a link to your post in the comments section.
GIVE comments to at least three other SOLSC bloggers.
This month, students around the globe are participating in the April Classroom SOLSC. Each Sunday, Kathleen Neagle Sokolowski will share a post for inspiration and conversation for the educators who are leading the Classroom SOLSC in their schools. As you know, comments mean a lot to bloggers and our student bloggers would welcome more readers! Please visit the Padlet (https://padlet.com/ksokolowski1/2dwhsvvnglqpp3bo) to support and encourage our student writers this month.

I decided to write a poem to encourage students to return late books to the library. Bear with me. I have never been very good at writing poems, and even worst if I wrote them in English first. Since I’m shameless, I read it today via the Intercom during morning announcements to my entire school 😉 I am so happy I can share today with you also since it’s SOL Tuesday!

I wrote a Golden Shovel, not knowing how much it would mean this week. On Sunday afternoon we were called to a Teams staff meeting where our principal tearfully shared the news that a colleague had died of a massive heart attack. We are going through the days grieving.
