One of my favorite resources earlier on in my teaching career was Dancing with the Pen. I remember reading it and tabbing many pages. It’s one I will need to re-purchase but such a worthwhile source and it will be fun to read it as though it is the first time again someday. When I did read it, for the first time, I remember reading the poem “The Thin Prison.” It opens chapter three of the book. I remember reading that poem and thinking I should do what it says. Eventually, I did share the impact the poem had/has on me. That poem still speaks volumes. Maybe it will for you too.
Let your words out.
A 5th Tuesday check-in with my OLW – grateful for seven more months to work with this word!
