If you were hesitant to join our 8th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge (SOLSC), I do not blame you. I clearly remember the first time I blogged. I remember sitting with my finger hovering over the mouse button, so afraid to hit publish. Trust me, we have all been there. We have all had a first blog post. Signing up for that first SOLSC literally changed my life. It improved my writing instruction more than any other professional development on teaching writing. It gave me confidence as a writer. It brought new relationships into my life. It gave me a place to hold precious memories of my daughters.
If you are wishing you would have signed up this year, I have good news for you. It’s not too late! Anyone who signs up and starts blogging by Wednesday, 3/4 can still complete the challenge and be eligible for a prize! (Check out our extensive list of prizes here.)
So, what are you waiting for? Click here to sign up, and then link your first blog post in the comment section of today’s call for Slices!

Bohemiotix, thanks for sharing your Slice of Life Story. However, this is not the place to share the link. You’ll want to head over to the call for Day #2 Slices. You can find it here: https://twowritingteachers.wordpress.com/2015/03/02/sol15-day2/. Thanks, Dana

Thanks I got complimented by L Square yesterday. I was afraid it wasn’t in the right spot. I just did one today. Can I move my Sunday article there?
