Welcome to Memoir Monday. Those who are regulars, we are looking forward to reading your memories as you record them and share them today. If you are new to Two Writing Teachers, or a Memoir Monday rookie, we would love to have you join us. Here are two simple ways to dip your toes into the writing waters (or if you are short on time) and join us for Memoir Monday. We’re looking forward to your links (or posts) in the comments section. Happy Writing!
- Carmela Martino of Teaching Authors offers this Writing Workout: Write a Six-Word Memoir. How ’bout it, take a minute to write six words and share them in the comments.
- Recently I registered for Ali Edward’s upcoming class called Yesterday and Today. Our pre-class assignment is to collect the 12 most defining stories of our lives. Here is a link to the challenge which includes many comments to inspire you to start your list (and inspire you to leave a comment to share your ideas). (You can join me in this story-collecting adventure by registering here to focus on documenting your stories through photos + words throughout the last quarter of 2009.)

Today i am remembering how much I hate being sick in the summer time. And remembering the list of reasons my husband would make a terrible nurse. 🙂 No Memoir for me today 😦
