Ruth’s Fierce Wonderings Post inspired me to take my M.M. Post in a completely different directions.

I started a new notebook today (below) since my students decorated their Idea Notebooks and Writer’s Notebooks today. Hence, I couldn’t resist making the first page of my new notebook something that was memoir-like. However, my memoir-like post is laden with fierce wonderings about my past, my childhood, and my life. My fierce wonderings are unlike anyone else’s. And therefore, I think that meshing the fierce wonderings concept with memories might be a neat strategy to try out in a Writing Workshop Session when giving kids strategies for generating notebook writing. (Then, they can go off and elaborate on one of their fierce wonderings.)

Anyway… here’s the outside of my new notebook.
