  1. I am going to share this article with our staff. It has many powerful points that will resonate with their efforts. We can’t hear this enough: “Your job will take much more than just building literacy and numeracy… Every kid needs an advocate whose task is to help that child succeed. Every child has to be loved.Every child has a story that has to be known—we have to pull it out of them. There’s no greater charge.” Her comments about equity are compelling. Thank you.
