Today is Purim. Hence, a few verses from Steve Hausman’s Poem entitled, “Esther’s Tale.”
Adar the 14th day is near
It means that Purim is almost here
But if in Jerusalem you’ll be
Then it’s the 15th for you and me
In synagogue we tell the tale
Of Haman’s evil and the Jews’ travail
On Purim day we have to eat
A festive meal that can’t be beat

Stacey,
Thanks very much for referencing my Purim rhyme. It’s nice to know that it’s still being read and enjoyed.

Probably the COOLEST story time I’ve ever been to is hearing this story told and HISSING as loudly as we could when the name Haman was spoken — it was so interactive and fun and I’ve never forgotten it. Happy Purim!
