SOLSC 2019 Prize Winners Revealed!

It is my pleasure to announce the Twelfth Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge prize winners. All participants who signed up for the challenge, completed the challenge faithfully, and signed our Participant Pledge were eligible for a prize. Thank you for setting aside time each day to share and give to this wonderful community of writers! Each winner was chosen and matched to a prize using a random number generator. Winners, as well as the generous donors, will be contacted via email within the next ten days.

Each prize is listed as it was in the reveal post. Winners are listed below their prize in dark blue lettering! Good luck!

In addition to these generous publishing companies, we also received donations from individual authors who support the mission of Two Writing Teachers.

Two winners will receive a copy of Freewriting With Purpose, donated by author Karen Filewych.  Freewriting With Purpose will be published by Stenhouse in February 2019.

The winner is Heidi Atlas.


Sally Donnelly is donating a set of colorful writing tools to brighten up a SOL story! Two slicers will write away with this prize.

The winner is Natasha Domina.


Jennifer Floyd’s prize includes a Rocketbook Everlast reusable notebook and pen.

  3. Well, I’ve been sick and am in the process of getting grades done for report cards, so this is a welcome surprise! Thank you to Jennifer Jacobson (for my awesome prize), to the TWT crew (for hosting), and to all the volunteers involved in making this challenge run so smoothly.

    This is a great place to write and to learn more about my own writing! 🙂
