It’s day 25 of our 31-day writing challenge! Today is my last day hosting for the month of March. I just want to thank all of you for showing up and being part of this amazing community. I’m so grateful to be writing alongside all of you! Tomorrow, Sarah takes over to finish off this year’s challenge. Remember to share the link to your blog in the comments, and comment on at least three other Slicers’ stories.
BE INSPIRED
Community is everything, whether you’re writing with people that you’ve never met that are starting to feel like friends or you’re writing alongside real life friends and colleagues. I’m personally fortunate to have several friends from my school district that I get to connect with through story every March. Today, I share one more post from my real life friend Elena, who blogs at, Standing Tall.
In her post, Missing Person, Elena uses just the right mix of details including inner thinking and dialogue to show the importance of having our people in our lives. Her post may inspire you to think about the way you layer details into your writing.
SUPPORT
If you encounter any issues with non-working links, problems with your permalink, or a permalink causing an image to appear in the comment section, our Slicer Troubleshooting Team is here to help. The team comprises four experienced Slicers: Glenda Funk, Fran McCrackin, Joanne Toft, and Peter von Euler. (Click here for a short tutorial to help you find your permalink and link your slice-of-life story to this post.)
For inquiries, please email us rather than leaving them in the comments below or on social media. We appreciate your patience as we receive a high volume of emails in the early days of the challenge. We will respond to all emails promptly.
Please direct specific questions to the appropriate co-author.
