It’s Day 4 of the March Slice of Life Story Challenge! Writing might feel like a challenge when you sit down to a blank page, but remember that it always feels like success when you hit “publish” and share your link each day!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Reminder: The daily “Call for Slice of Life Stories” starts at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (New York time zone). If you share your slice-of-life story link after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, please post it in the next day’s call for slice-of-life stories.
- Multi-Lit Fridays are back this year! Participants are encouraged to blog in another language. The first Multi-Lit Friday will be on March 7.
BE INSPIRED
Today’s Be Inspired post caught my attention because of it’s perfect blend of voice, word play, and strategic use of visuals. On her blog Writing and Laughing, writer Kristina Weller takes us on a shopping trip with her as she looks for a new pair of running shoes in her post “Finding the Right Fit.” Check out Kristina’s post for a smile and some new ideas about how to structure your writing to maximize your storytelling voice.

Usually, I’m not this sleepy so early in the SOLSC month, but tonight … I didn’t have enough consciousness to write a slice. Substack gives you the option of posting a “note,” however, so I tried that for the first time: https://substack.com/profile/25265574-girlgriot/note/c-98104985?utm_source=substack&utm_content=first-note-modal
With luck, I’ll be awake enough to write tomorrow. ❤
