In this sacred space, I developed a renewed interest in and appreciation for strengthening my poetical muscles. So, today’s recollection about geese on my streets on last week is a celebration of such – in a format (I like to believe that I made up) that I’ve dubbed, “Septema.”
Each stanza has seven lines, with the second and last rhyming. I find myself reverting to this pattern often, so I thought I should give it a name, ha ha ha. That said, do enjoy: The Geese on My Streets – Dr. Carla Michelle Brown * Speaker * author * Educator
