Seen, Valued, Heard: Blog Series Throwback

This school year has been unique for me. I have been on leave, so I haven’t actually been with my students yet. I’ll be returning to my “loveys” in the coming weeks, and it will be up to me to re-establish the classroom community that I envision. As I looked back through Two Writing Teachers posts for guidance, I found the “Seen, Valued, Heard” blog series from August 2020.

This blog series highlights ways to affirm student identity, establish community, and create spaces where students are indeed seen, valued, and heard. It offers sound advice for amplifying student voice – at any time of year.
