Today is the twelfth day of the 16^th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time in the United States begins/began today at 2:00 a.m. The clocks “sprang forward” one hour. If you are a late-night slicer, don’t forget that the deadline is 11:59 EDT.

Reminder: If you are a seasoned slicer (you have joined the March challenge in previous years) and are interested in taking on two, three, or four new slicers as a designated reader, click here to sign up. For more information, see the announcements from yesterday’s call for slices.

Speaking of humor, Kristina Weller wrote a slice on her blog, “Writing and Laughing,” titled “Alternate Universe Monday?” The way she described this crazy Monday was cute and funny. I also love the title of her blog and felt like it matched today’s tip perfectly. Often, as we process parts of the day, laughter is a great accompaniment.

Additionally, have you checked out our slicer-led workshops yet? This year, we are excited to offer a new initiative. All slicers are invited to come to Slicer Workshops, and we even have one this morning at 9am ET if you’re up and seeing this early! We also have meet-ups at 4pm or 8 pm ET on 3/14, as well as one at 5pm on 3/15. You can find more information and contact the hosts for a Zoom link here.
